Top Nigerian Dailies Support The Initiative, "Better Life Through Education"

It is just a few days until the new Sustainable Development Goals are announced. They will be replacing the Millennium Development Goals. Education remains a top priority particularly in developing countries.

Sub-Saharan Africa still has the lowest rate of primary school enrollment in the world today.

One of the primary objectives of Save Our Needy is poverty alleviation through the promotion of education. The plight of disadvantaged and vulnerable children is of great concern to us. We believe that quality education is a fundamental human right.

Better Life Through Education was initiated by Save Our Needy to promote basic education amongst disadvantaged children, encourage early childhood development and create a conducive environment for learning.

The Shoprite Community Network in a bid to reach out to disadvantaged children and fulfill their Corporate Social Responsibility, partnered with SON to make this project not only a reality but a huge success.

The initiative received wide media coverage from both print and online media. Punch, Vanguard, ThisDay, The Nation and Telegraph as well as popular Nigerian blogs including Stella Dimoko Korkus blog supported the initiative.
